Wherever possible, the Community welcomes parents with their children (aged 6 to 12) during school holidays. By getting close to nature, spending time together, sharing, playing and joining in certain retreat liturgies and vigils, they learn to better perceive and express their own discovery of God.
Families with younger children (aged 1 to 5 ½) are welcomed during one summer retreat. Friends of the community take care of activities for the children so that parents can fully participate in the retreat.
For young people (aged 14 to 17) who have already taken part in the “Children's” groups, the Community offers a transition stage so they can experience a retreat. They take part in Eucharists, share the work of the community - either within the community or helping with the children - and enjoy friendly conversation accompanied by adults (either from the community or friends of the community).
‘Young People’ and ‘Childrens’ groups are an integral part of our retreats.
